It takes some time to compile these things, you know. So, I'm behind a couple of weeks.
But, I collect flyers everywhere, scour bulletin boards around the community and rely on friends to let me know when races, car shows and cruise-ins are planned.
Right now, here's what I have uncovered for May.
May 3 – Modified Mayhem at Atomic Speedway,
Chillicothe, Ohio. Classes running will be Sprints,
AMRA Modifieds $1,500 to win, and Sport Mods. General admission $12; Pit
admission $30. Pit gate opens at noon, General Admission gates open at 2 p.m.

May 3 – Stonie Jones
Excavating Night at Ona Speedway, Ona,
W.Va. General Admission $10,

5 p.m.; racing begins at 7 p.m. Classes running
6- Any Car and 4- Cylinder U-Car, Hobby Stock, Classic V-8, Sport Mods
and Late Models.
May 3 – Ole Car Club
of Gallipolis, Ohio
Airport Show and Cruise-in at the Gallipolis Airport,
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry fee by donations. Net profits donated to local

May 10 – PRP Classic
at Portsmouth (Ohio)
Raceway Park. General Admission regular
programs $12 ages 16-years and older, $5 ages 12-15, $2 ages 7-11 and age 6 and

May 17 – River City
Ford Night at Ona Speedway, Ona,
W.Va. . General Admission
