Update on Brett Rowe

Brett Rowe is entered in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series O’Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Today (April 3) is qualifying and practice for Brett and his car.

Air time for the race is 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

Brett will drive the #05 31-W Insulation/ CertainTeed Chevrolet for Wayne Day and Day Enterprises. Sorry the photo is from his former team, Revelocity, but it's the best photo we have of Brett.

Right now, he ranks 37th in five starts, and is 551 points behind Nationwide Series leader Clint Bowyer.

At some point this season, hopefully at the end of May, Brett will get to roll out in the Herd Racing Marshall University car. Keeping our fingers crossed and prayers going out it will be at Lowe's Motor Speedway May 24.

Drive on, Brett, drive on.

Too bad Rowe is driving for a low budget team. His talents are waisted in this piece of crap car.
Question, Has he finished a Nationwide race? It might be better to wait for a decent car than to make laps with the "start and Park" bunch.

Look at "slow Rowe"'s finish today.
Once again the lack of decent equipment showed.
You didn't post my last blog and you problay won't post this.
You are not a fan of Nascar, if you were you would realize the bad with the good.

How did Brett and Davin do this last weekend?

Well "slow Rowe" in the "start and Park" 5, true to form finished less than 20 laps.
Nascar should do something about these "field Fillers" this isn't racing , just a waste of time.

Looking at the Practice speeds in Mexico, "slow Rowe" Will probably get to ride home early.
Why in God's name do they try to race the piece of crap they have.

Well Ralph, I can't believe Brett even entered the Mexico race. That's a looonnnggg way to go for what will probably be a DNF.

We don't want to be mean about it, but...

On the up side of local racing, I was checking out Davin Scites' new website. I'll finish this on a post.

Brett is trying to make races in the NASCAR series. Hundreds of thousands of racers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and other parts of the world would love to be able to do that. Only 43 of those hundreds of thousands make the race and Brett is blessed to be one of those who usually does. All with very, very inferior equipment. This isn't Saturday night Late Model racing. It's the NASCAR Nationwide Series. That's a whole different ballgame!
