Shane Hmiel in the toughest race of his life

When celebrities get caught doing something they shouldn't, whether morally or legally wrong, we shake our heads. Blame it on the rapid rise to fame in tandem with too much money too fast.

Shane Hmiel is one of those stories. He was the earliest driver to fail NASCAR's drug testing, not just once but three times, and was banned from the series for life, long before Jeremy Mayfield came into the headlines.

He got clean and sober and set out to re-establish himself as a race car driver.
